Nanette Baughman, Executive Director
Nanette leads White County Family Connection with nearly three decades of nonprofit leadership experience. Her heart for families and deep roots in community work drive her mission to build partnerships that create lasting change. She believes that when families thrive, the whole community grows stronger.

Haley Hobson, Director of Programs
Haley began her journey with White County Family Connection as a volunteer in 2020 before becoming Mentor Coordinator in 2024. She now serves as Director of Programs, providing strategic leadership across White County Family Connection’s initiatives. Haley continues to personally lead the Mentor Program, while also supporting program staff, strengthening volunteer pipelines, stewarding collaborative partnerships, managing marketing and communications, and advancing sustainability through fundraising and grant writing. With her communications background and firsthand understanding of family life as a mother of four, Haley brings a community-centered, compassionate approach to every White County Family Connection program.

Laura Allapatt, Lead Family Advocate
Laura serves as a Family Advocate with a deep passion for strengthening families and supporting children through life’s challenges. With a background in sociology and experience working alongside at-risk, kinship, foster, and adoptive families, she approaches each family with empathy and understanding. Laura finds joy in helping parents and children build confidence, stability, and hope for a brighter future together.

Julie Courson, Family Advocate
Julie joined White County Family Connection in 2022 and brings both professional expertise and personal passion to her role as a Family Advocate. With a background in special education and vision services, she has spent her life supporting children and families. After years as a foster parent and homeschool mom, Julie continues to empower parents to build safe, stable homes. She loves sharing good meals, camping with her family, and walking their dog through the beautiful hills of White County.

Jordan Stewart, Family Advocate
Jordan serves as a Family Advocate with a heart for helping children and families find stability and hope. She is passionate about supporting foster care and adoption, believing every child deserves a safe and loving home. Known for her thoughtful nature and love of reading, Jordan brings both compassion and insight to her work—walking alongside families as they build brighter futures together.
