Collaboration

White County Family Connection convenes schools, DFCS, nonprofits, faith partners, businesses, and civic leaders to align efforts, share data and resources, and close gaps for families. Together we coordinate food support, mentoring, attendance solutions, and crisis navigation—so families don’t have to repeat their story at every door. If you’re serving White County, there’s a chair here for you.

Get Involved – Join a Work Group

At White County Family Connection, our work is powered by the hands and voices of people like you. If you serve families, support youth, connect with schools, work in business, faith-based service, or community organizations — we invite you to join one of our work groups. These groups focus on key issues such as food support, attendance solutions, mentoring, crisis navigation, and closing service gaps for families.
Being part of a work group means you can:

  • Contribute your experience and ideas to shape meaningful solutions
  • Collaborate with other local partners across sectors
  • Help align resources, identify gaps, and streamline access for families
  • Build relationships and strengthen community networks

Whether you can meet monthly or pitch in on a specific project, there’s a place for you. If you’re ready to roll up your sleeves and make a difference, simply reach out to let us know your interest and we’ll help connect you with the right group.

Monthly Collaborative Meeting

We also host monthly collaborative meetings for all partners and interested community members. The meeting is held on the third Friday of every month and offers:

  • An opportunity to hear updates on initiatives and data trends
  • A chance to share what you’re doing in your organization and connect across sectors
  • A space to learn about upcoming work group efforts and sign up to get involved

Want to stay in the loop? You can easily join the meeting invite list — just email us at family.connection@white.k12.ga.us to receive the meeting invite each month.
