Family Advocacy Program

When life gets complicated, you don’t have to figure it out alone. Our Family Advocacy team walks alongside White County families to stabilize urgent needs and build long-term momentum—at home, at school, and in the community. Advocates meet you where you are (often right in our local schools), listen without judgment, and help you make a simple plan you can actually use.

What we help with (your plan, your pace):

  • Parenting support and routines that reduce stress at home
  • Budgeting, jobs, and connecting to benefits or local resources
  • Housing and utilities assistance navigation
  • School attendance problem-solving with caring, school-based partners
  • Referrals for mental health and other specialized services

This isn’t a hand-off—it’s a walk-with. Most families work with an advocate for several months, checking in regularly, celebrating wins, and adjusting the plan as life changes. Your information is kept private, and you decide who we loop in.
